Born on May 5th in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Stanley grew up in a family of musicians, with four brothers and a sister. With music being an integral part of his upbringing, Stanley’s mother’s saxophone and father’s piano played a significant role in his realization that music was his passion. At just six years old, Stanley picked up the saxophone and never looked back.
In 1999, Stanley wanted to broaden his musical horizons, and he taught himself how to play the keyboard and drums. It wasn’t long before people in his inner circle recognized that Stanley, also known as “J-SWAGG,” was more than just a musician. He was a producer and played with the band K’mistry. His sweet and captivating sound created a buzz, and his music was irresistible. When asked about his musical influences, Stanley cites Ansito Mercier, Nickenson Prudhomme, and R&B singers like Brian McKnight and Marion Meadows.
To date, Stanley has collaborated with many notable artists, musicians, and producers, such as Christopher Warren, Mitch Love, Mark G, and Sean David. He also creates beats for several popular bands in the industry. Now, it’s time for the world to get up close and personal with Stanley as he shares his unique musical vision.
